Visits to schools

During the lifespan of our project, we made four visits to both primary and secondary educational centres with the intention of gathering feedback from both students and teachers, as well as testing our materials in the classroom. A report including further information regarding these participative visits can be downloaded below.

F.2.4.2

First participative visit to schools involved in the project

During the month of October 2016 we carried out our first visits to those primary and secondary schools that had joined our project. The aim of these visits was for the teaching staff from the Universidade de Vigo involved in the project to present our project to students and teachers, as well as gather information regarding the students’ previous knowledge about European Culture. Further information is available in the report.

F.2.4.3

Second participative visit to schools involved in the project

During the months of May and June 2017 we carried out our second visits to schools. The aim of these visits was to present an early version of the conceptual contents to the teachers and students of the primary and secondary schools involved in the project. These contents had been drafted and improved since the first visit. The input gathered from the students during this study visit allowed us to dismiss or modify activities and other content. Further information is available in the report.

F.2.4.4

Third participative visit to schools involved in the project

During the months of January and February 2018 we carried out our third visits to schools. The aim of these visits was to present an updated version of the procedural and attitudinal contents to the teachers and students of the primary and secondary schools involved. These contents had been developed and improved since the previous visit, taking into account the suggestions and input gathered during that study visit. Further information is available in the report.

F.2.4.5

Final participative visit to schools involved in the project

During the month of June 2018 we carried out our final visits to the schools. For this final visit, the teaching staff from the Universidade de Vigo involved in the project was accompanied by the team in charge of developing the apps that were being created from the contents of each lesson plan. The aim of this fourth and last visit was to present these materials to students and teachers and collect their feedback. This feedback allowed us to prepare the final deliverables. Further information is available in the report.
